Agam Palta
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), M. A. Psychotherapy
I started my journey into therapy as I kept noticing how easy it is for our struggles to be overlooked, especially when cultural expectations tell us to “just deal with it.” I’ve seen what happens when pain goes unspoken, the distance it creates between partners, the tension it adds to family gatherings, and the weight it places on your own shoulders.
What changed everything for me was discovering how powerful it can feel when someone truly listens, without judging or rushing you. That moment of being heard can open the door to real healing. This experience drives the way I work with every client. I listen deeply to your experience, help you name and validate the feelings you’ve tucked away, and guide you in finding your voice, even when it feels scary. By creating a warm, nonjudgmental space, I’ll support you in rebuilding trust with yourself and others, which will help you move from isolation to genuine connection.
I’ve had the honour of walking alongside people of all ages: teens trying to find their voice, adults struggling to balance work and relationships, couples working through trust issues, and elders navigating new chapters. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to help you find your way forward.
