As a therapist, I believe in being honest and authentic with my clients. I bring the real me to each session. I truly believe in a collaborative approach where you and I work as a team to reach your goals. I use a trauma informed approach that takes skills from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Somatic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Attachment Theory. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy, and will use whatever approach meets your needs. Sometimes the thing that helps the most is having the compassionate and empathetic ear of a person who can witness your story and walk with you as you move forward. And tea often helps, too.
