Lauren Beattie

Registered Psychotherapist, M.A. Counselling Psychology

When life gets tough and we don’t know where to turn, we need a listening ear, and a voice of reason to help us to keep going. I know how difficult it can be to ask for help. You’ve come to the right place. The ongoing journey through my own mental health directed me to the path of becoming a therapist. The genuine warmth and encouragement I experienced in therapy was just what I needed to connect and open up about the challenges I was facing in my life. Through the therapeutic process, I was able to recognize what was no longer serving me, and what changes I needed to make in order to move forward and thrive through the struggles. I learned how to be more compassionate with myself, and how to show up authentically as myself.

I don’t have all the answers, but together we will work through your situation to increase your ability to cope, relate, connect, or shift mistaken beliefs to align more congruently with who you are in this stage of your life. It would be an honour to be a part of supporting you to grow and heal from your life experiences.
