Feeling stuck or overwhelmed with life can be stressful and draining. We’ve all been there when emotions, thoughts, and feelings just become too much to handle on our own. Academic, vocational, familial, and even relational stress can have a huge impact on our daily functioning and mental well-being. Thankfully, you are not alone. Working with an open and empathetic therapist benefited me in times when I felt there was no way out of my rut!

I connect best with others when I am providing support and care. I have worked in the community in private care and non-profit, but have now truly found my place in counselling others. I strongly believe that, as individuals, we have the ability to rebuild ourselves, work towards our goals and ambitions, and recognize our self-worth along the way. Our unique abilities and experiences shape who we are, but do not need to limit or define us. I am here for you to be that someone who will listen, help you rebuild, and be a grounding support in your time of need.

My approach:

Your uniqueness and individuality are at the centre of my approach. You are the expert of your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I will work alongside you to understand and recognize what is working for you in fulfilling your goals and what may be working against you. I apply an integrative approach, pulling from a variety of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Play Therapy, and Grief Counselling. Flexibility and adaptability are important to me; I’m confident that we can work together to meet your therapeutic needs. Your success is my success.
